Frances M. Moore DVM
Dr. Frances Moore attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After earning her DVM, she was in private equine and in small animal practice. She completed an NIH – funded fellowship in comparative pathology at Harvard Medical School. She was an assistant professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School and at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She was director of the clinical laboratory at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital where she focused on diagnostic small animal anatomic and clinical pathology. Dr. Moore was also director of Marshfield Laboratories, Veterinary Services for 29 years, building a diagnostic reference laboratory which served primary care and specialty veterinary practices as well as industry clientele from coast to coast. She then pursued a consulting service in diagnostic pathology and quality auditing and became a certified quality auditor with the American Society for Quality. She joined Heska in 2020 where she is currently Vice President of Clinical Pathology. Dr. Moore is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in anatomic and clinical pathology.
