F. Yvonne Schulman DVM
Dr. Yvonne Schulman is a graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked as a staff veterinarian in a primary care veterinary practice, working primarily with small companion and exotic animals prior to completing pathology residency training at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. She completed a two-year pathology residency training at the National Zoological Park in Washington DC, focusing on anatomical pathology and cytology of exotic species. She was a diagnostic pathologist for Marshfield Laboratories in Marshfield Wisconsin for 26 years during which time she also served as both a staff pathologist and consultant pathologist for the American Registry of Pathology in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. She has also worked as a diagnostic pathologist at ZN Labs and at Zoetis Labs. She was head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center for Worldwide Reference on Comparative Oncology, editor of the WHO International Histological Classification of Tumors of Domestic Animals, 2nd series, and assistant editor of Surgical Pathology of Tumors of Domestic Animals (Davis-Thompson Foundation). She is currently associate editor of the oncology section of Veterinary Pathology. Dr. Schulman is a diplomate of the ACVP in anatomic pathology.
