Arlo Cook

Prior to attending Massey University School of Veterinary Science in New Zealand where he achieved a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, Dr. Arlo Crook earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science (Honors) from the University of Auckland and acted as a quarantine officer for the Ministry for Primary Industries (Biosecurity) in Auckland, NZ. Following graduation from Massey University, Arlo was a shelter veterinarian for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Wellington, NZ.  He completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, CA, then joined the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, CA as a Small Animal Medicine Clinician. He then began training in pathology and achieved a MSc in Diagnostic Clinical Pathology at the University of Saskatchewan.  He received the Zoetis Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Award for proficiency in emergency and critical care from Massey University, and the Dr. Norman Lowes Memorial Award in Cytology from the University of Saskatchewan.  Dr. Crook is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in clinical pathology.
