Teresa Burns, DVM, MS, PhD, DACVIM
Dr. Teresa Burns received her B.S. and DVM degrees from Iowa State University, and she completed her internship (Equine Field Service), residency (Equine Internal Medicine), and PhD training at The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is an equine internal medicine specialist and diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and she is currently the Bud & Marilyn Jenne Professor of Equine Clinical Sciences & Research and an associate professor of Equine Internal Medicine at the OSU CVM. Her research and clinical interests include laminitis and endocrine physiology of horses in health and disease.
